It’s always a perfect time to give something unique to the person you love! You don’t even need to wait until Christmas to show your gratitude.

However, there is one problem: What gift are you supposed to give? Even after going through countless personalised gifts in Singapore, you won’t find the best one if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

Fortunately, that’s why I’m here. I want to help others find the perfect gift for their loved ones. I’ve been wandering around the Internet for gift shops to see which one offers gift ideas in Singapore. Eventually, I stumbled upon a gift shop called ARCH Singapore that sells corporate gifts.

Their gifts are quite entertaining. My favourite part about their selection is their variety of customisable gifts. Most of them are stylish and artistic, all of which I’d say is perfect for adults into culture and history.

I had a hard time choosing which one’s my favourite, but I have to say all of them are perfect gift ideas if you’re looking for something unorthodox but useful. I’m into lifestyle and furniture products, so I guess the gifts I’ve bought are also perfect for me.

Let me show you some of these crafty gifts that I’ve bought for myself and friends!

1. HANDICRAFT NOTEBOOK

Since I bought from a handicraft shop in Singapore, there’s a lot of artistic products in their selection. One of them is this handicraft notebook that I bought for myself. It’s a typical notebook but with a twist: you can see Singapore’s city landscape on the front cover that looks like it’s carved out of wood.

I like to write during my free time, especially when I’m riding the bus after work. With this artsy notebook, I can jot down poems, notes, and quotes whenever I want. When I’m at home, however, I use it for studying whenever I’m researching an assignment handed to me by my boss.

This notebook is incredibly useful. Even those who don’t write could use a journal for taking down notes, especially if they have a short term memory span. So if you know someone who loved to write, try giving them a notebook.

2. MINIATURE SCULPTURES

Do you know someone who’s a fan of travelling abroad? If yes, maybe you could give them a miniature sculpture of world-famous attractions?

I bought a miniature model of London’s Big Ben. I went there a year ago to explore the culture and atmosphere of Britain itself. So when I saw this cute sculpture of Big Ben, I couldn’t refuse to buy one for myself. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s worth the price anyway.

The good thing is that you don’t need to buy expensive sculptures of famous landmarks. Perhaps you could sculpt one yourself? Crafting a gift with your own hands will add a personal touch to your gift. Your special someone will appreciate the hours you’ve dedicated to creating a scale model.

Also, there are many affordable scale models of buildings and attractions. If you’re on a tight budget, maybe you could find something inexpensive instead. It’s the thought that counts at the end of the day!

3. KEYCHAIN

So what if you’re on a really tight budget, but you don’t want to look cheap? Then maybe you can give your special someone a keychain with a design that’s related to something they adore?

For instance, I gave my friend a keychain that’s designed with a landscape of the Capitol Theatre? My friend was into architecture, and she always loved how the Theatre looks like whenever we hung around the Civic District. She expressed how the Capitol Theatre’s architectural design is nostalgic, and that she always wanted to visit more places like it.

When I gave her the keychain, she absolutely loved it! The feeling was unlike any other, she said, and that such a small gesture brought a tremendous smile on her face. In short, she was thrilled to see me give her a present on a typical day. I’m happy that she was happy, but most of all: I’m glad that I was able to save money!

All in all, these personalised gifts should help you make your loved ones happy, no matter how expensive or cheap your gift is. The goal is to know the person you’re giving to and find out what makes them truly happy. You could find a gift that’s related to something they’re fond of, or maybe add a personal touch by customising the gift by yourself.

Most of all, the important part is gifting is a show of gratitude. You don’t need to buy anything expensive! Just visit a handicraft shop in Singapore and buy something affordable. It’s the thought that counts!
